My son, Rowdy is nearly 2.5 years old. Balloons are major, okay? Like, very, very major. We have leftover balloons from his 2nd birthday and he loves it when we blow one up for him to bounce around the house. And, of course, the balloons in the floral department of the grocery store always get his attention. On a recent trip to the grocery store, my husband was entertaining Rowdy so that I could focus on some produce picking. In the process, he blew up a produce bag, tied it up and said “balloon!” to Rowdy, who’s eyes lit up immediately. Genius, dad. Genius. That’s a dad thing, for sure. I know I wouldn’t have thought of it. So now Rowdy says, “balloon” as we approach the produce section. I took the pictures above at our most recent trip to Kroger because he was so darn cute having a ball with his Grocery Store Balloon.
P.S. Rowdy is wearing a fox shirt and fox hat by Little Maven by Tori Spelling for JCPenney. She designs super duper cute stuff. Plus, I heart Tori Spelling.
